Hatch Chile acquires REG Ltd

Hatch Chile has acquired REG Estudios De Ingenieria (REG Ltd), an infrastructure engineering firm based in Santiago. The firm has 35 years of local-market experience.

REG provides services in public and private areas related to hydraulic works, hydric resources, dams, tailing impoundments, tunnels, roads, slurry transport, mine closure and advisory inspections.

The addition of REG to Hatch Chile greatly expands our capacity to provide a broad range of expertise in the following areas:

• Hydraulic resources, hydrology, hydrogeology, evaluation and planning of hydro resources
• Geology and geotechnics, geological mapping, tunnels, slopes stability, dynamic analysis, foundations, prospecting
• Large dams, tailing dams, concrete, rocks
• Hydrological projects, siphons, run-off defences, conductions, pumping stations flumes, settling towers
• Pulping and slurrying, conduction pipelines, pumping stations, re-pulping, cyclone plants
• Sanitary and environmental engineering, closure planning, cadastres, water distributions networks, sewerage networks, filtering and treatment plants
• Roadworks, platforms, roadwork, bridges
• Structural engineering

The acquisition was completed on January 6.
