
This greenfield, pyrometallurgical facility will comprise a 60,000-t/yr ferronickel smelter for the extraction of nickel from saprolitic ore mined from the Koniambo ore body. Koniambo is one of the world's largest and highest-grade undeveloped nickel laterite deposits.
