Abstract
Recent years have seen an increase in awareness in the area of energy efficiency. In response, several organizations have initiated energy efficiency programs. In the ferrous and non-ferrous industries, where new facilities will be the exception, optimization and retrofits will be the predominant avenues available to producers to improve energy efficiency.
