Abstract
The objective of this paper is to identify the different applications of Titanium Grade 2/2H and Titanium Grade 12 piping for Pressure Hydrometallurgical Service. The rationale behind choosing either grade will be explained throughout the paper. Discussed in detail will be the advantages of each grade with respect to commodity pricing, fabrication considerations (such as welding and bending), temperature and pressure considerations, and applicable services. The results of this paper will aid in the creation of guidelines to optimize titanium piping systems.
