Hatch affiliate wins another Manitoba Hydro assignment Hatch affiliate KGS Acres has been working since 1999 on major planning and design studies for four Manitoba Hydro generating stations with a combined capacity of 2,400 MW. In 2009, we began final design for one of the stations, the Keeyask, 725 km northeast of Winnipeg on the lower Nelson River.

Flue-gas Desulfurization in Australia The Anglesea power station comprises a 160-MW boiler and steam-turbine generator fueled with brown coal from a dedicated on-site mine. Hatch conducted a feasibility study and basic engineering to enable the integration of a flue-gas desulfurization process to reduce stack SO2 emissions and ground-level concentrations in surroundings areas.
