Abstract
The average and firm energy yield of a hydroelectric power system operating within a mixed hydro-thermal power system depends on the hydrology of the station sites, the amount of flow regulation provided in the system and the hydro station installed capacities. It is also highly dependent on the water management strategy adopted for the system.
